CITROEN - THE BEST GREEN FLEET CARMAKER
Citroen has won the prestigious GreenFleet Fleet Car Manufacturer of the Year award, in recognition of its extensive range of fuel efficient and fleet friendly vehicles.
The GreenFleet awards are a British competition organized by PSI Media. The Fifth Gear presenter Jonny Smith revealed the winners. LowCVP managing director Andy Eastlake received the Outstanding Achievement Award for his tireless work to further environmental motoring in the UK.
“We are pushing for a change in the way the fleet sector thinks about greener motoring, and by helping us host events like the Arrive’n’Drive, we’re very grateful to Rockingham for its continued support,” explained Colin Boyton, Marketing Manager for GreenFleet.
Citroën won against brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo or Toyota which were pre-selected.
Judges said they were impressed by the manufacturer’s range on offer to fleet customers including 65 models with 120g/km CO2 or less, including the brand’s first diesel hybrid, the Citroen DS5 Hybrid4 .
